“So mama, don’t take my Kodachrome away”…

…and that’s just what they’re doing.  Taking away the kodachrome. Supply and demand sure takes a new meaning. It’s really disappointing – a real shame.
Just over the weekend I had a conversation about Polaroid photos and how they now cease to exist for the regular consumer. It’s a reminder how photography is changing our lives. For me, taking photos use to be such a meticulous action especially as a financially deprived college student where every frame counted as the sound of money slots echoed in my head. Even the craft of dark room processing has taken a back seat and I’m guilty as charged for neglecting that craft too.  Paul Simon, will you write a song about todays news too?
